The IBF’s Top Management Breakfast on October 30th, hotel President, Prague on Organisational and Leadership Energy.
Why s this worth your time? If you are asking yourself how to be more effective in your organisation, given the current “Black Swan” environment and economic turmoil, then this session may be essential to how you manage the future.
You may be familiar with Nicholas Taleb, author of “The Black Swan” – if not, visit youtube for an interview he himself describes as “ me producing standardized smart-sounding verbiage” – the man clearly has a sense of humour... and tries hard to get a complex message across on TV! (if you speak Spanish, more here).
John Raddall, my co-facilitator, also has a sense of humour, as well as a lot of experience making sense of the world, and, more specifically, management and leadership.
He is the owner of one of South Africa’s leading Human Capital Management consultancies, and is only in Prague for a few days, so this really is a unique opportunity.
He and I will spend the morning discussing:
- Energy and organisations as dynamic systems
- The role of leadership in determining organisational energy and organisational “DNA”
- Some background to “Black Swans” – potential impact on organisational energy, and an introduction to the concept of energy fractals
- How to use green fractals to deal with black swans
- The new challenge: thinking, leading and doing things in ways that are both sustainable and profitable
- Why we are trapped in our “old” thinking
- How to change our thinking to match the new sustainable paradigm
- Leadership energy and self-management reloaded
I would highly recommend you make the time to join us, and look forward to seeing you there!
Please feel free to pass this invitation on to others who might enjoy it (limited to top management please!)
Cordially,
Annette
